There were no salmon running but they still found us 2 bears, showed us a beautiful river and an even more beautiful estuary and meadow. Taught us about culture, logging and life as a Tlingit. Made us feel like family! Strongly recommend - you can't force a bear to show, but you can increase your chances. Thank you!

Our guides were very knowledgeable about the plants and animals on the island, as well as the culture and history. Both guides were friendly, answering all of our questions. Local knowledge and expertise, very informative and helpful guides, also so very kind. This will be unlike any tour you take. Don’t bother with the major tour companies - this is so perfect. Not only learning about the culture, but the land, bears of course, and even picking berries straight from the plants!  Can’t recommend them enough.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.  Best short tour of the cruise. Saw a coastal Bear 3 minutes out the shoot grazing on the berm of the logging road. John and Marilyn love compassionate guiding and gave our family of 11 detailed information of the flora and fauna.  Tlingit history was enlightening about the Ravens and Eagles.  Saw 5 Bears.
